Eduardo has been managing AMC Networks International Iberia (formerly Chello Multicanal) since 2005 and in April 2014 he was additionally appointed Managing Director of AMC Networks International Latin America. Eduardo led the integration of Multicanal into Chellomedia, the acquisition of Teuve in Spain, the creation of Dreamia in Portugal, and the launch and consolidation of numerous pay thematic channels in both countries. He has also spearheaded efforts to launch AMC and Sundance in Spain, Portugal and the Latin American region.
Eduardo has held several responsibilities in the Spanish TV industry since 1989 and has extensive experience in post-production, acquisitions, programming and production as MD of Molinare Spain, MD of Multicanal, Director of programming and content at Telefónica-led DTH platform Via Digital, and MD of Fremantle Media for Spain and Portugal, where he produced many primetime and daytime television shows with excellent ratings.
Previous to his TV career, Eduardo worked for a number of years in the financial services industry in the corporate finance departments of Citibank and Bank of America in Spain and served as CFO of Iniexport, the trading arm of INI Group, Spain´s largest industrial holding at the time.
Eduardo holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Georgetown University and a master’s in international finance from Columbia University.
Chief Financial and Administrative Officer
As Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Latin America based in Miami, Ricardo controls all operation including legal, technology information and human resources. He has worked at Chello Multicanal in Spain, now AMC Networks International – Iberia, for the past seven years.
His most notable achievements include the structuring and assessment of more than100 corporate operations, from mergers and acquisitions to due diligence processes. He also assisted the company in major negotiations with cable operators in Portugal and Spain.
Ricardo studied business at Universidad de La Coruña in Spain and earned a degree in international business communications from Ulster University - United Kingdom. He also participated in the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in Navarra, Spain.
Country Manager, Argentina
As Country Manager in Argentina, Marisa supports human resources, internal communications, and corporate social responsibility departments.
Previously, she was Senior Vice President for Human Resources at Pramer SCA before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2010.
Marisa graduated with honors as a Public Accountant from Argentina’s Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora. She also holds a bachelor´s degree in business administration from the same school, a post-graduate degree in labor and social security law from USAL - Universidad de Salvador, and a master´s in strategic human resources management from UCES, Universidad Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales.
Marisa completed her management education in the management development and strategic HR programs at Universidad Austral´s IAE Business School.
Director of In-House Production Channels
Mandi joined Spain’s Chello Multicanal, now AMC Networks International - Iberia, in 2006, bringing with her more than 20 years of professional experience in administration, creation and content management. She serves as the in-house production channels director for Canal Cocina, Canal Decasa, Canal Panda and Sol Música in Spain, and as lifestyles channels director for AMC Networks International - Latin America, featuring elgourmet, MasChic and Cosmopolitan TV.
A journalist with extensive experience, Mandi has been linked to the world of television for most of her career. She directed entertainment programs for Antena 3 and TVE, including “Lo que necesitas es amor,” Spain’s first reality show, which received a TP de Oro, one of the biggest awards in Spanish television. She also managed national and international production program departments at Pearson Television and Filmax.
Mandi has won numerous accolades for her work, among them the International EVA Award recognizing women leaders in the area of cuisine, sponsored by the Government of Navarra and promoted by Spain’s Asociación de Mujeres Empresarias y Directivas. She holds a degree in journalism at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Director of New Media
Philippe and his team manage more than 25 websites, their corresponding social media networks, and over 15 mobile and smart TV applications. He is behind the successful Canal Cocina app, the world’s most popular Spanish cooking app, downloaded more than two million times on iPhones, iPads and other mobile operating systems.
Philippe worked in distribution before becoming the automotive division’s (Eurofren) Director of Marketing, focusing eventually on the online world. He took part in the launch of the first automobile portal, Autocity.com. This was followed by online and mobile leadership positions for the telecommunications company Orange (France Telecom.)
He holds a degree in Business (and communication, advertising etc.) from the École Supérieure de Commerce in Lille France.
Vice President of Distribution, Latin America
Gustavo is responsible for the distribution of AMC Networks International – Latin America in Brazil, Central America and Mexico. He joined AMC Networks in 2013 as Vice President of Global Distribution and Business Development, helping spearhead the launch of Sundance Channel in Latin America. Soon after he took over as Vice President of Distribution for Latin America.
Prior to joining AMC Networks, Gustavo spent seven years as General Counsel of Discovery Networks Latin America/US Hispanic and five years in the legal department of HBO Latin America.
Gustavo began his career as an attorney with the international law firm of White & Case LLP. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Miami. Gustavo serves on the board of directors of the Television Association of Programmers Latin America.
